Muscle groups trained together? I train with free weights 3 times a week.
I train Chest & Triceps together, Back & Biceps together, Shoulders & Legs together.
I think im right in assuming that when performing a chest exercise you also train the triceps as secondary (chest primary).
I think im also right in assuming that when performing a back exercise you also train the biceps as secondary (back primary).
As such, ive always been led to believe that you should always train these muscle groups together. I always train the bigger muscle first and the smaller last..........4 chest exercises, followed by 2/3 tricep exercises. 4 back exercises, followed by 2/3 biceps.
Who agrees with the above theory OR who believes that these muscle groups should be trained in a different combination?? |
