Wow, what a weekend. definately the highlight of my year. fantastic show, some UNREAL competitors, and of course, some excellent results for us and our friends. Rachaels' 3rd place was the highpoint for me (of course) can't tell you all how happy we were when that result was announced especially considering the competition she was up against. Malika 1st place, now 2 x ms. universe. excellent as always and well deserved. Dave Fox was impressive as hell, the best and biggest i've ever seen him taking 2nd in class 2 behind last years overall champion and it must have been close (!!!). Dayo Audi 2nd (again) but looking better than he has in years i thought. Enjoyed seeing Graham Park win the 0ver 50's class too (man these guys have unbelieveable physiques for any age, but in your fifties ? that's crazy). Have to mention Russell Freakley 2nd in class one, that is a truely awesome result. He was wearing the biggest smile of everyone after that. Karen Bricklebank 3rd in figure class 1, well done girl, very happy for you. Tony Mount took 2nd in class 3 and looked better than i can even describe, absolutely awesome physique and beaten only by the overall amateur and eventual pro-am winner who really was a total freak of nature. apologies to anyone i've missed out, i'm still on a high from the show and just barely getting my voice back. finally a big big thank you for all the support you guys (you all know who you are) gave to Rach, from advice, to cheering to doing her make up, inviting us out to dinner and just generally making it an enjoyable weekend.
