Re: bulking supplements To gain mass you need to be in a calorie excess. Ie eat more calories than you use. If you can do this cleanly then do so. Fat is 9 cals per gram carbs and protein are 4 if you need to work it out based this way. A calorie of hydrogenated or shitty saturated fat in junk food has no more calories that good fats in oliy fish. Up the cals till you put on weight. Do this cleanly if you can as there is no reason not to if you are able.
I hate the above method but I know some use it. If you can do it cleanly there is no benefit not to mention a health detriment. If you cannot eat a calorie excess cleanly then possibly do it in the above way but I don't advise it. But thats what opinions are. |
