back Alright lads.
This is my current training plan
Day 1: Rest
Day 2: Back - deadlifts, pulldown
biceps - Standing barbell curls , incline barbell curls
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Chest - flat bench, incline barbell press
triceps - Close grip press, dips
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: Legs - squats, hamstring curls
shoulders - Barbell Shoulder Press, upright rows
Day 7: Rest
I'm not happy with my current back routine. Firstly, my deads aren't going welll i can't get to the 8th rep without feeling really light headed. I'm not really lifting that heavy (i used to lift more until i focused on strict form). Cardio has been mentioned but i'm still looking to bulk up ( 6'2.5 and 14.5 stone). Also i changed the bent over row to the pulldown a few months ago as i have dodgy legs and i just couldn't do the exercise as i was resting on a nerve. I would like to do an other lower back excercise though. Does sitting on the bench and resting on the chest on a 45 degree angle seem ok? Then just doing the exercise the same. It looks the same but just puts less pressure on the legs. That would mean 3 different exercises for the back. Is that ok? I could perhaps cut the deads and pulldown sets from 3 to 2 then do 2 of this row so that the time stays the same.
thanks in advance
