It may be the case that your deadlift form is off and you are putting too much strain on your lumbars.
I was in the same position not too long ago.
Get someone to check your deadlift and squat form - or fire a video up if you can't get anyone who knows their stuff to do it in person.
Are you doing stretches for your lower back...?
