Will this make me weaker? I have layed off of weight training for 3 weeks due to my broken ankle. Today, however, I got my cast put on and I headed straight to the gym with my training partner. I was curious as to how much strength I lost so I went through my usual routine and came to realize I had lost along the lines of 30%. I started my PCT last thursday and was worried that because I hadn't trained in so long, it may have not been the smartest idea to train today. Basically what I'm worried about is if.....because I'm in PCT, my test levels are depleted right? And I understand that cortisone is the main hormone in the body during this time? Well, if I worked out to the point of getting sore, there is minimal levels of test in my blood to act on the damaged muscle tissue. Thus cortisone will rush in and actually cause catabolism right? Do you feel that training now (during PCT) after laying off for 3 weeks will ultimately make me lose gains and become weaker?
Just to give you guys an idea of my extreme ectomorph body-type, get this - I stop training for three weeks and I lost 25lbs!!! From 205lbs. down to 180lbs. ______________________
