I used to smoke and I stopped by reading that Alan Carr book 'The easy way to stop smoking.' It really worked for me, and i cant advocate it enough. I smoked 20 a day for 15 years, and half way through the book I just stopped.

Being totally honest, I now detest the sight/smell/thought of smoking. It worked for me but everyone's different. I obviously needed someone (the book) to talk sense into me. It doesnt use scare tactics, but it does make you think and come to the right decision yourself, while at the same time making it easy to stop. No cravings involved. Not sure how this guy does it, but he promised it would be easy to stop and it was, i still sometimes cant believe it.
