Phew, we always have supp orders out within 24hrs (clothes can be a bit trickier) and panic when a customer doesn't get it in time.
What you've said about the post is common, they don't bother putting a "we tried to deliver" card thru and next thing we know the stuff returns and the customer thinks we're hopeless.
