When sneezing we exert pressure on our chest area. There are many ligaments, tendons, muscles which can get torn, pulled etc. From what I've heard it's quite easy to damage tendons and ligaments when taking steroid because our tendons/ligaments take longer to strengthen.

I think that the fact that you notice it when sneezing is a real clue. The tightnes is probably due to some trauma created when lifting a weight too heavy or not warming up properly on a chest or back workout.

Take it a bit easier for a couple of weeks, and if it's still bothering you or it gets worse or you start feeling dizzy, then go to the doctor. But I do think it's easy to get overly worried about these things.
I had the same sympoms in my back just below the shoulder blade. I was convinced it was something serious. Ended up being a pulled ligament, or something along those lines. Still have to be careful now after ten years!

PS I'm not a doctor.
