Default Calves and their stubborn refusal to grow

A possible theory as to why it is difficult to add mass onto ones calves....

Every time we take a step it's a calf raise of 200lbs (example) so we are constantly overtraining them!

I think a good experiment to try would be to have someone train calves heavy then simply sit down until the next calves workout. The result would be growth because they have plenty of time to recover and grow without walking hindering the process via overtraining!

What do you think?
