NO!..bubbles on aspiration are supposed to happen...Second, where are you injecting into?...even if you have some fat layer, 1.25 should reach...the general rule of thumb is, delt=5/8", quad=1", glute=1.5"...i use 1.5's all the way round, just dont put them in as far (usually)...remember, when you aspirate, you only need to pull back on the plunger gently a little bit...if you see blood rushing in that is bad...as long as that doesnt happen, your fine!...btw, get some 25 gauge needles...i only use 22's for drawing, not injecting, believe me, you wont even feel it go in!
