Default 200KG deadlift *(6 weeks into cutting??)*

Hi guys

I've posted the following in my journal but i'm raising a different point:

"weight training has still been solid tho, and today i deadlifted 200kilos !!

The best thing about it is that i have it on video and i will be posting it up here as soon as the person that shot the video emails me it.

It was spotted so i think part of the movement might have been mildly helped, but only because i lost momentum slightly. i'm gonna analyse the video totally when i get it and show u guys. "

My question is, how out of the ordinary is it to get stronger whilst cutting?

I've lost not too much weight (10lbs) but lost 2.4% bodyfat (noticeable), but got a personal best in deadlift today (200kgs).

I'm not as strong on the bench but I really haven't seen a decrease in my overall strength whilst i've been cutting down my carbs and fat and calorie intake.

I'm not super strict in the way that I restrict myself entirely of carbs or anything, but only about 75 - 150grams of carbohydrates at the moment.

I lifted without any thermogenic, creatine or stimulant apart from a strong coffee beforehand.

Am i weird?

Nick
