Default Lactose intolerant. Some suggestions please.

Over the last few years I've often got bloated after taking protein drinks and milk. Just recently it's got much worse. I often try different protein powders to see if it won't affect me. No such luck. My latest batch left me so bloated it was agony and I'd just sit there huffing and puffing trying to catch breath. I'd had enough and so today I had no milk or protein powders. I feel great. No bloat and lots more energy. I enjoyed an afternoon (on holiday this week) putting together a chopper push-bike that I've had for a week because I couldn't do basic things like bending down and squatting to ground level. Ok, on to the point of the post! With the loss of the milk and powders I'm a bit concerned about keeping my protein uptake high. I normally consume close to 500 grams a day, this included about 8 shakes a day and 4 litres of milk. I work as a delivery driver and the protein shakes are just right for 'drinking and driving!' See the problem? Can anybody suggest any high protein snack type foods that I can make myself and eat in one go using one hand? Thanks for any help guys.
