I'm also 5"7 but 10 years older. (and thankfully no longer a virgin) I recently started training again after a 2 and half year break or thereabouts.
I echo whats already been said here, particularly about using weight gain protein shakes (nLarge2 by prolab is very effective) but must be combined with excersize, i.e. weight training.
I suggest weight training excersizes 3 times per week, join your local gym and get some suggestions from others or ask for advice on training routines for gaining size/weight from your instructor in gym.
Much easier to drink a few protein weight gain shakes if your looking to put on weight & combined with weight training 3 times per week (you'll notice pretty quickly if your training is right & calorie intake is relatively high) some good results.
