The key to building a big chest is hitting it hard. I'd recommend the following exercises as crucial:
- dumbell / barbell chest press
- dumbell / cable machine flyes (I rate cable machine more, as you are under tension throughout the movement)
On top of those, any variety of incline/decline. My chest routine generally has 10-14 sets of the above followed by tricep dips/kickbacks/etc, as I do triceps having pre-exhausted them somewhat with chest. |
