Right , for example I'll have whey in water after a workout then I'm usually eating dinner within 40 - 60 mins, so what I mean is is that enough time for the protein to get digested before my system starts on the proper meal? It's often the same a.m., I have a shake on waking then I'm usually eating breakfast let's say 40 odd mins after that.

In terms of proper meals, I do indeed try to get something down me every 2 - 3 hours.
