Extreme Whey is a blend of 2 different concentrates and whey isolate, the reason for this is to supply an amino acid spectrum as close as possible to that found in human muscle tissue. It is also aspartame, gum and thickener free. Whats the point in adding gum to a product which the body needs to absorb fast after training? All it does is block/slow down the body's ability to digest the protein and it stops the whey frothing up when you mix it, ours does go frothy because it is additive free but its damned easy to digest and is ultra low in lactose and sodium.

I used Prolab myself 10 years ago when it was the best around, its still a good product but hasn't moved on as new information and developments broke through.
