thanks in advance for any helpfull feedback.
I'm often in the same situation Saj as I have a chronic back complaint which flares up every now and then and keeps me from doing legs for weeks/months at a time. I try to make the best of a bad lot and just do upper body in these situations but have found on the same diet I started putting on a bit of a gut

In my experience any lost in the legs is more easly gained that a loss in the upper body. I start doing really intense work on the legs to get me back up to speed, e.g. drop sets for the quads/hams/calfs. This gets me back to regular strength in a matter of weeks.

As for getting fat , I just do more cardio cos I have more time to train (eg on the scheduled leg days)

Cheers
