On another note, as you may know I have got a 2002 R1 (aswell as a number of other bikes), Today I was coming back from town on my R1 with my old man (with old lady as pillion) on my ZX9R ninja. We came across this guy on a 1996 GSXR1100 (think it was turbo'd) who was carrying his missus.
As you do we started racing, and he was real quick (even with his missus on the back :shock: ) We were close all through town. Got to the motorway/highway and got that throttle going. I'm no pussy with my throttle but this guy was a nutter. I was doing 150mph and he came flying past me. I opened up my R1 throttle some more and was following him at just past 170mph :shock: . I will tell you what, cars doing 70mph dissapear real quick at 170mph and the front is real light, and you have to be really careful with cars pulling out into your lane. All cred to this guy as he had balls, we gave each other thumbs up after about 40 miles of madness. I like to meet bikers who have a race bike and treat it as such otherwise its such a waste owning a bike with 140bhp+ and only using 50bhp (may aswell get a smaller bike)
p.s my old man was doing 150mph with me old lady on the back of the ninja, GO ON DAD! :shock:
