Yeah, I did think about getting some blue dye to discolour the fuel but this would make it really obvious that I'm running dodgey fuel.
Used to own a taxi firm and never once had a car stopped so I'm not going to worry about them stopping me in a private car. Might start checking up on replacement engine prices though now. ops:
