squats are good because the muscles in your legs are in fairly large groups and training these will stimulate growth in more regions...these mystical "core" muscles. nothing mystical, im just a smartass. but it does help. if you have problems with squats you can do a legpress and it does about the same thing, just not using anything but the legs. but if you wanna be big, you gotsta have legs. just look at cutler, the man has legs bigger than my waist! |
