Well, some "pro-hormones" are actually pro-steroids meaning that they are steroidal... the pro just means that they are not illegal b/c of a loophole in the law. 1-testosterone is an example of this. It requires no conversion to a parent hormone b/c it is an active hormone in itself. 4-ad is a pro-hormone... it converts to testosterone in the liver. 19-norandro is a pro-hormone with fewer sides than most. The downside to 19-nor is that it also is the least beneficial in terms of mass/strength of the pro-hormones IMO.
