Training muscle groups twice a week is a big No No, especially as you get stronger, as you'll cause more damage to the muscle and they'll require longer to repair!
If your going to train your lower back seperatly you might want to train hamstrings on that day as well, most lower back exercises use your hamstrings, try Stiff legged Deadlifts :P Fantastic, I love em!
