O.k. mate the first thing you shouldnt be doing is planning a set menu, this will result in your body eating the same things, over and over and as a result, staleness will set in along with boredom, and you will lose stimulation to keep your bodys needs on track, best thing i can advise is to stick to the basics, chicken,rice,red meat, etc and if it looks plain tart it up read some recipe books or check out some serving suggestions, and you actually end up a fairly decent cook, at the same time you are learning about it, you will feel a sense of achievement in what you have made, give it a go mate you have nothing to lose.
